Silently
You left the throne
of Heaven for the womb.
In the dark and secret dwelling,
You were shaped as humankind
weaving tapestry
of flesh and bone.
Leaving celestial light
and Heaven's crown,
You came down
silently.

Violently
the earthly realm
rejected their true king.
Though the light of Heaven shone
for all mankind
to comprehend,
they closed their hearts
and minds to Your love.
So as the Lamb of God You shed
Your blood for the world
violently.

Silently
You lay entombed
within the womb of earth.
Finished with the human form
You laid in wait for blessed morn
trusting in Your Father's
eternal plan.
Shrouded in perfect love from
God above You endured
silently.

Violently
You took away
the keys of death and Hell.
You arose with healing wings.
Heaven's celestial choir sang
as they saw You
glorified and crowned.
As King You reign
yet You'll come again
From Heaven's throne
violently.
