Sweet Assurance

Father, I give you all my burdens,
take with them my worries too.
Give to me your sweet assurance,
with open arms, I come to You.

Father, you know my every care,
each anxious beat of my heart.
Give to me your peaceful Spirit,
don't let my pain keep us apart.

Father, you promise to protect me,
to give me a place to lay and rest.
Give to me your Spirit's filling,
so that I may be forever blessed.

Father, I give to you all my fears,
take with them my doubts too.
Give to me your sweet assurance,
with an open heart, I come to You.
