Today you shall remember,
As the day of the redeemed.
When your soul was won over,
By our Jesus on the tree.

When grace had its turn,
To work through the Son.
When Jesus with concern,
Forgave each and every one.

The debt we could not pay,
A sum we couldn't afford.
Jesus came from Heaven,
For the ones He adored.

Humbled even to death,
Nothing stood in His way.
With His mind on forgiveness,
Especially for the stray.

From today until forever,
Never forget that day.
When Jesus on that tree,
Everyone He forgave.
