To See Your face Once More


As life would have it a conversation with a loved one is rare when your loved one
Is an over the road truck driver. How lovely it would be to have a face to face conversation in the flesh with the one you are married to.

There are many ways to hide behind a phone- a long distance a way. If you are having a difficult day you don't want to bombard him with the troubles that
are looming on the "old homestead". Not when the perils of the open road is before
him.

"I'd love to have this time with you, to remember the fun we had.
The days spent talking face to face, oh how we'd make' um last.
Conversation on the road is something not so new, we've been
before on this path, again we'll muddle through".

Face to face conversation among truck driving families is an all together different life when it comes to normalcy. The times apart are times you don't take for granted. It is just too risky, to say the least.

"To see your face once more I know will bring the sunshine to
The darkened places of the soul as life will often do. Talk is cheap
But love's divine so remember dear the times, when face to face
Is sweeter still when one is gone so long."
