Paws filter across
the tiled floor
as electrodes

my ears sensitive
from last
night's partying

flickering eyelashes
raise a feline face
my head pain-achy.

It's uncanny how she
understands
the way I feel.

now she's pondering
my apology for being
late with breakfast

can't make a decision
to accept my offerings
perhaps go outside

then decides the latter
"Meow" opens the door.
