Lord, humble me in Your mercy,
Let fairness be my guide.
For I know without Your justice,
There's no place for me to hide.

Give to me Your understanding,
Let Your truth direct my day.
For I know without Your guidance,
I would surely lose my way.

Show me Your compassion,
Let me seek to do Your will.
For I know without Your goodness,
I could never possess the skill.

Test my faith with consideration,
Let Your wisdom speak out to me.
For I know without Your grace,
I would be too blind to truly see.

Teach me about Your forgiveness,
Let Your passion in me come alive.
For I know without Your reflection,
I would never be able to survive.

Lord, humble me in Your mercy,
Let Your love dwell deep within.
For I know if You hadn't died for me,
I would have perished in my sin.

Good and upright is the LORD;
