I Corinthians 15:58 (NIV) - Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Our Father has placed us where we are right now to do His work, to further His plan, to accomplish His purpose.
Everything we do is "the work of the Lord" and we must always give ourselves fully to the work and do our best for Him.
What may seem to be a small insignificant act of kindness, an encouraging word, or even just smiling at someone may accomplish much more for His kingdom than we can know.
Our most important and challenging work is loving our families, friends and those around us who may not be so lovable.
We must stand firm and do the work He has given us today. We must let nothing move us from our determination to do good, to make righteous choices and to put others before ourselves.
If we do our best, whatever we do, our labor will never be meaningless or useless. When we give our all to recognizing and doing the work He has for us, our loving Father will always acknowledge and bless our efforts.
So...stand firm, let nothing move you and always do your best.
