"Meow"
opens the door.
Ripley quickly smells
the bushes
leaves run from the wind
and he chases.
A mouse peeks from a
woodpile. They play tag.
Ripley walks across
snow banks and
visits a patch of grass
then rushes across McMaster
and Shirley Streets
hungry tummy bringing
him home.
