Isaiah 40:29 (NIV) - He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Because we are human, we all experience times when we feel weary or weak.

God knows that as we do His work we become weary and need strength to go on. He knows that we are weak and easily discouraged by the frustrations and disappointments of life...but He is strong and He never grows weary.

He carries us until we can walk again and encourages us to depend on Him.

We can run to Him and hide in the protection and comfort of His sheltering arms until we are rested and strong.

He has promised to strengthen us so that we can finish what we started. He has promised to provide us with the power to overcome our fear and discouragement. And He always keeps His promises.

At times we will grow weak and weary, but we can learn to depend on the strength and power our Father has promised.
