Darkness Flees

Desolate depression digs itself deeper into your heart and mind and soul;

Anxiety attacks and attacks with constant fiery fear that will never slow;

Relentless restless dark days and nights seem like they will never cease;

Keeping you routinely removed from all God's love, joy, hope and peace.

Nightmares cause chaos and spin your life into a stressed out manic mess;

Even your so-called friends shun you as they deal with their own distress!

"Somehow some day," you tell yourself, "Things will be betterI have a dream"

"Somebody will help me find The Way back home where life is not so mean."



Finally one day you radiantly realize the stinking pigpen way you've been thinking:

"Living this way is not The Way I was taught, Lord, what have I been drinking?"

Endeavor now to return to your Father's love and the power of a sound mind:

"Enter back into My house, My child, I never left you during all this time."

Sweetly surrender to Jesus who gently heals you with His blood: "I'm ALIVE!"
