Seek the Lord and do His Will
by 4/03/2011 / Poetry
Seek the Lord while he may be found,
Stray not from His commandments, walk in His wisdom,
Let His precious word; in your heart be hidden,
With its infinite power waiting to be proven.
With willing lips declare the judgments of the Lord,
With joyful tongue declare His infallible word,
Rejoice in His testimonies, as in all riches,
Meditate on His precepts which embellishes.
Seek Him now while he may be found,
For it is day and light is all around,
Run in His direction, be fully persuaded,
Let all attention to him, be undivided.
Delight in his statutes, be covered with grace,
Stay in His presence, for that's a Christian's place,
Be dedicated to Him, he delivers from fears and disgrace,
Call on Him; be steadfast in prayers and persistently run this race.
He opens eyes to see wondrous things in His law,
Divine understanding He gives, it has no flaw
Stick to His word, be not ashamed,
Stand on His promises, all in Jesus name.
