by boatrocker Gilmore
4/24/2011 / Poetry
There are many churches who have forgotten their foundation.
The love for Jesus should be the motive of church's congregation.
Many sermons are tailored like a beautiful suit that is well fitted.
But living a surrendered life to Jesus is often omitted.
When Jesus is magnified, his teachings can be exemplified.
Without obedience to Jesus, God cannot be glorified.
Jesus often mentioned the times that the Father and he dwelt.
If Jesus is not embraced, the presence of the Father can't be felt.
Without Jesus being our vine we can produce nothing.
The lesson of Cain taught us that God won't just accept anything.
Let us never forget Jesus- the reason that our Christian faith exist.
Let us be a healthy member of the body of Christ and not a cyst.
