Lord, encourage me today,
lead me with Your hand
hold me up, and lift me
for I'm too weak to stand.

Be my quiet confidence,
the whisper in my soul
let Your Spirit sustain me
till I'm complete and whole.

Be the voice in my head,
the calm within my heart
give me words of comfort
as I make a fresh start.

Be my soul's inspiration,
move and arouse my trust
motivate and inspire me
as I learn to adjust.

Lord, encourage me today,
as I seek to do Your will
teach me to be strong
for I'm too weak to be still.
