There are groups of men who are incarcerated in prisons and jails around Arizona who are part of the ATF, Anointed Through Faith, ministry. Mike and Dawn Kludt are in charge of the ATF prison/jail ministry here in Arizona. ATF is affiliated with CMN, Christian Men's Network, which was founded by Dr. Cole and helps with distributing and facilitating meetings having to do with a 9-book curriculum and Bible study of Dr. Ed Cole's Maximized Man series, what it is to be a maximized Christian man. Through CMN the curriculum is so successful that there are men's groups going through this curriculum around the world in over 42 countries and over 60,000 churches. Once completed the men graduate the course and become commissioned to be able to teach other men the course. I can honestly say that God's anointing and blessings are all over this curriculum.
I have read letters and have heard the testimonies of how God radically changed the hearts and lives of these hardened men. So much so that their families, friends, prison guards, counselors and even wardens of the prisons have all noticed an extreme change in their behavior and manners. This is an on-going process work of the Holy Spirit as they are being changed from glory to glory! God now is using these men in mighty ways to spread the gospel through out the prisons and into other states as they get moved around. I could go on and on, just know that God has a plan for EVERYBODY!
Some time ago when I was in prayer I started praying for these men. I was praying for God to give them strength, endurance and to send angels to help them during all the hard times that they face daily. Then God shared this with me. There are times when they are faced with the temptation to return to their old lives, life-styles and bad sinful habits. That is when God had me to pray about their shoes. Shoes are used as you go on your way down your path. When you are "born again" or become a believer, Christian, you become a new creation in Christ! The old you has been stripped away as old filthy shoes. God gives you new shoes to wear as you go down His path. If you try to go back and put on the old shoes that is your old sinful past you soon find out that they no longer fit. In fact they are about three sizes too small. Not only do they not fit as you try to cram your feet into them but they look and smell bad too. They are extremely uncomfortable!
Everyone knows some family member or friend who is in prison and that there are others who are only a step away from being there themselves. These men have plenty of problems to deal with both in and out of prison and it is imperative that they stay rooted in God's Word and in a close daily walk with their Heavenly Father. So I prayed for these men that anytime that they were tempted and tried to put on their old shoes that they would discover how bad it was by the conviction of the Holy Spirit and what a mistake to try to return to the old ways. This example of old shoes and God's new shoes applies to ALL people. Once you taste how good Jesus is and drink from His living waters it is always hard to try to drink sewer water again!
I would like you to please keep these men in your daily prayers. God has some powerful plans for them as He continues to use them to spread the gospel in the prisons and jails across our nation. It is scary to hear how the Muslim religion grows in our prisons as the funding for the Muslim preachers/Imam continues to flow in from middle-eastern countries. It is time for America to support the spread of the Gospel and it being taught and preached in our own prisons and jails! Prayer is powerful and important to the guys. Pray that God will continue to give them favor, blessings, courage and boldness of the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel and God's love to other men. When the man in the family unit is empowered by God to be the Christian man he is meant to be then the whole family prospers. It is time to stand!
My name is Steve and I was born and raised in a good Christian home in Phoenix Arizona. In 2004 God spoke to me to let me know that He would start sharing things with me that I would share with others. Little did I know how powerful and meaningful those things would be! Thank you Lord!!
