"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105). Pray that God's will be shown to us always. Through him, with him, and in him we can accomplish his will in any situation starting with earnest prayer. Pray that he will reveal his direction and purpose for our lives. We all are faced with difficult decisions every day. Alone we do not have the wisdom to see how our decisions will impact our lives and those around us in the future. God knows what the best path is for us. Offer our daily decisions up to the Lord so that his path will be brightly lit and easy for us to follow. Remember his wisdom is all knowing, perfect, and never failing. Trust in the Lord and in his love for us. Whenever we are faced with an important decision, pray to the Lord for his wisdom so that we may accomplish his will gracefully. That should be our first thought always. What does the Lord want us to do? When we pray for his will to be shown, seek it for his glory and not our own. Too often we pray for what is best for us in that moment. Start to pray for what is best for God first, then his will can be seen much more clearly.
MISSION: Ask God for his will first
Pray, What is your will God? Whenever we face an important decision, stop and ask God for his will to be shown. Start to incorporate this into every decision-making process during our day. Put God's interest in our lives at the forefront of each choice we make. God is perfect love, and we can trust that he will show us what is best. So make it a point each time before we make a decision, to stop and ask for God's guidance first before we decide what we think is best.
