Three Words We Fear

The thought for today is about three little words that may have sometime in our lives caused us great concern.

The four letter word Lost can give us the feelings of fright, sudden fear, or alarm; when we realize we are truly lost. But when we meet someone to show us the way, Oh, what a wonderful feeling comes over us. When Jesus is there to show us The Way, The Truth, and The Light in our life, we have found a real friend and Savior. We are no longer lost when we put our faith and trust in our Lord and follow in his footsteps.

The word Lonely can make us feel isolated and very unhappy at being all alone. We can at times feel alone even in a crowd of people. We see in the Bible where Hebrews 13: verse 12 says, "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained Angels, unawares." If we seek the Lord in our lives we will never be alone and he is only a prayer lengths away.

Now, Rejected is a very harsh word that can affect our well being and health. We can be rejected by friends and even churches we have attended, but our gracious and all mighty Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will never reject his believers. Our Lord tells us in John 15: verses 12 and 13 " This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend."

What a wonderful Lord we have if we only look to him for answers. He will lead us from our lost and sinful ways. He will be by our side always, so we are never alone and lonely. We can always call on him through our prayers and he will never reject us or give us a busy signal. The Lord is a friend we can count on all the days of our life, like none we have ever known.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the answer to our needs when ever we feel lost, lonely, or rejected. Trust we all will attend the church of our choice this Sunday and worship and praise our Lord. God Bless America
