"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" (James 1:24). We all will go through tough times in our lives. That is an inescapable part of our existence on earth. So let us triumph over all that the world throws at us together. We are a mighty force indeed when we are united with our brothers and sisters of the faith. Pour out our conquering faith in the Lord to everyone around us. We should never waiver in our commitment to God or each other. Do not let time and distance dilute the love we have for one another. Remain steadfast in our resolve to keep our spiritual teams centered in the Lord and his truth. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing" (1 Thessalonians 5:11). We must stay connected with our spiritual teams and build them up positively. We are fortunate now that technology has enabled us to stay connected much easier than ever before. We have cell phones, email, video chat, and a whole host of other ways to stay plugged into the lives of our spiritual teams. Take advantage of the advances in technology to stay abreast of what is happening in our spiritual teammates' lives.
MISSION: Stay connected
Build the support network infrastructure for our spiritual teams. Create a calling tree with names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, and occupations. Send out a daily email or make a phone call to see how our spiritual teams are doing and if they need anything. We can build upon the infrastructure as needed, but the intent is to be always available in times of joy and need.
