You Give Me Reason

God gives you reason! You can easily justify how good God is in your life by the blessings that God gives you. God gives! Just to wake up every morning is one of His blessings. You serve a loving and giving God. Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. It blesses God to bless you. You have not yet received every blessing that God has planned for you. It is more than you can vision. It is more than you can contain. It is more than you can imagine. It is more than you can hold. It is more than you can measure. It is way more than you deserve. It is more than you can use because most of your blessings are meant for you to give away. You can't give it away as fast as you receive it! God gives you reason!

God is always working for your betterment. God knows not only what you need as your Jehovah jireh but God knows what is best for you. God is your provider for ALL of your needs, ALL the time and in ALL areas of your life. Do you trust God to provide ALL of your needs? Christians are willing to settle for what is good at the expense of what God has as best for them. Lack of patience will cause you to compromise away what is best for you. Instead you settle for what you think is best which turns out to be only good. Thinking that you are lucky for getting the good but you have just missed God's best. You limit God's ability to really bless you as He desires. You miss out on all of the wonderful and enormous blessings that God has stored up for you. "Good is the enemy of best." God gives you reason!

Too often we Christians put limits, restrictions and conditions on God's blessings in our lives. As if we know better than God what is best for us!?! What's worse is when we complain about God's blessings in our lives. "It wasn't what I wanted." "It didn't come the way I wanted it to." "If any more jobs orders come in I won't be able to take extra time off I wanted." "Why do they always ask me to work overtime?" "I wish the phone would quit ringing so I can get some work done in my shop." If we would only untie His hands and allow God to be God in our lives then we would see the blessings on a daily basis flowing from heaven. Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. God gives you reason!

That is what God does He gives you reason to praise Him, to thank Him, to bless Him, to love Him, to adore Him and to worship Him! When you are facing your daily battles, cares and troubles that the world hands you, it is easy to forget about the blessings in your life. Your attention is drawn away to your immediate problem areas and you lose your focus on God and His blessings. That is when you need to turn those problems over to God. That doesn't mean that you ignore them or that they are not important anymore. It means that when you submit and commit everything to God you allow God to provide you with the answers, wisdom and grace that you need to get through it. Allowing God to actively participate in your daily life. It is what God wants to do for you, in you, to you, with you and through you. God wants to be included in every part of your life everyday!

God gives you reason to be thankful. The Bible says "in ALL things give thanks". All means all. You are to give thanks for the bad things even if it is just surviving them or the lesson you learned from them as well as the good and perfect things in your life. "You are who you are" is based on your past experiences both good and bad. Through trials and tribulations you are being reshaped and reformed into a useful vessel of God's. God loves you too much to leave you like He found you. The Holy Spirit is reshaping you into the image of Jesus Christ, who you are becoming like. That is reason to give God thanks!

When you think of all of the blessings that God has poured out into your life you can't help but praise and thank Him. James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. "who does not change like shifting shadows" means that God is constant and who is consistently working for your good and finding ways to bless you. It blesses God to bless you. God loves and God gives so you are blessed by your receiving. God gives you reason! Are you ready?!?
