"Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has been good to you" (Psalm 116:7). We need to plug our minds into something that will recharge us every day. Whether it is an activity outside, reading, or playing with our children. Find whatever it is that refreshes our minds for the next day. It is important to keep the battery of our minds always fully charged. That way we can meet all situations at one hundred percent capacity mentally. Our capacity to deal positively with any given negative situation increases dramatically when our minds are sharp and focused. We have to give our minds time to rest just like any other part in our body. Remember that giving our minds a break from the stress of the day should be a priority.Take the time each day to let our minds recover from the day's activities. We do the same for the rest of the body when we exercise. Our minds have the largest role to play when it comes to quality of life. A mind at peace is a life at peace. So re-energize our minds every day, without fail, to stay vigilant for the next test.
MISSION: Recharge daily
What is it that refreshes our minds daily? Identify what it is and make it a part of our daily routine. It is vitally important that we make time for it every day. Allot at least one hour a day to recharging our minds. It will release the stress of the day and open our minds to hear the Word of God more clearly.
