There is no other sweeter word,
that I have yet to hear
there is no other sound of hope
that has fallen on my guilty ear.

There is no other pardon,
that'll remove my crimson stain
there is no other sure release
to which my soul will ever gain.

There is no other freedom,
that I have yet to find
there is no other purification
of my soul, heart and mind.

There is no other redemption,
that will ever come my way
there is no sweeter word
that anyone else will ever say.

So, if you haven't heard it,
listen closely to it right now
forgiveness, is the word
and Jesus will show you how!
