Mirrors

After a therapeutic relationship is built with Cher, I bring out the mirrors. The assessment, treatment plan, and groundwork have been methodically arranged. Cher ponders on the mirrors and which to choose. The mirrors reflect the nature of humanity, but also each individual's innermost desires and fears. Albeit, the mirrors illuminate the hearts of both saints, sinners, and anyone in between. Each mirror tells a story of the looker. The mirrors' purpose is to promote profound existential and lasting change in mind, body, and soul. Cher and I decide she is ready to experience the mirrors.

The mirror of motivation brings goals and objectives. The today mirror brings here-and-now experiences and stimulates living in the present moment. The mirror of the past brings hope for the future. The mirror of emotion brings energy for existence. The mirror of the psyche brings cognitive restructuring. The mirror of behavior brings accountability. The mirror of spirituality brings peacefulness. The mirror of problem-solving brings solution. Based on the looker, the mirror of suffering brings meaningfulness. The mirror of confession brings forgiveness. The mirror of self-exploration brings curiosity. The mirror of choice brings empowerment. The mirror of understanding brings forth acceptance. The mirror of support brings encouragement. The mirror of autonomy brings self-sufficiency. Gazing into the mirror of wisdom brings insight. Based on the looker, the mirror of pain brings growth. The mirror of benevolence brings generosity. The mirror of trust brings faith. The mirror of humor brings laughter. The mirror of compassion brings kindness. The mirror of justice brings mercy. The mirror of service brings humility. The mirror of harmony brings unity. The mirror of integrity brings respect. The mirror of discovery brings knowledge. The mirror of love brings grace. The mirror of goodwill brings community. The mirror of culture brings authenticity. The mirror of maturity brings wisdom. The mirror of life brings learning, unlearning, and relearning.

Nonetheless, there are other mirrors as well. The mirror of hate brings destruction. The mirror of greed begets more greed. The mirror of comparison brings self-disgust. The mirror of vanity brings narcissism. The mirror of insecurity produces jealousy.

The mirror of religiosity brings judgment of others. The mirror of chronic guilt brings condemnation. Based on the looker, the mirror of pain brings discouragement. The mirror of rage brings devastation. The mirror of discrimination brings oppression. The mirror of poverty brings despair. The mirror of unresolved grief brings depression. The mirror of privilege brings abuse of power. Based on the looker, the mirror of suffering brings meaninglessness. The mirror of deception brings lies.

Cher bypasses the other mirrors and looks into the mirror of truth.
