Mr. and Mrs. Selfish prayed together every day after their marriage.

God bless us two
And not you.

God, give us more
Then the person next door.

Mr. and Mrs. Selfish became parents and prayed with their two sons every morning and every evening.

God bless us four
And no more.

The Selfish sons grew up and had their own families.

God, give us favor
But not our neighbor.

Mr. and Mrs. Selfish became grandparents and prayed with their five grandchildren every Sunday while driving to church.

God bless us seven
Just us in heaven.

One Selfish son grew up and became a pastor.

God bless us people
Just our church steeple.

The Selfish grandchildren grew up and had their own families.

God bless us a lot
Only in our spot.
