I'm looking unto Jesus,
I'm keeping my eyes on Him
for this race I am running
I know together we will win.

The track that is before me,
keeps going round and round
but with Jesus as my coach
I know each bend I will bound.

I know I can't go the distance,
without a place for me to rest
so I stop and pray that Jesus
will help me to do my best.

When I come upon a hurdle,
and I can't see the light of day
I know I can rely on Jesus
to help me find my way.

This race is long and hard,
and there is no easy road
but with Jesus at my side
He'll help me with my load.

I'm looking unto Jesus,
to reach the narrow gate
and if I take my eyes off Him
I'll end up there ~ too late!
