Smoke of mellowness,
Dwelling in my lungs.
Burnt weed aroma,
Altering my mind.
Acclaimed hemp plant,
Rolling oversized joints.
Evaporation of motivation,
Smoking, eating, sleeping.
Sativa Cannabis high school,
Majoring in hashish oil.
No diploma or degree,
Marketing Columbian Gold.
Career in street morays
Dealing, stealing, squealing.
The world turns outside my door,
Escaping into hallucinogenic fantasyland.
Values and morals forsaken,
Lying, cheating, pimping.
Ten-year high school reunion,
Sitting in my prison cell.
Melissa writes about the God and human connection and condition.
