her fist became her voice.

Taunting words stopped
when she punched their faces.

The power felt so exhilarating
that she kept hitting.

With every pound she gained
she hit harder.

Words and emotions stuck inside her fist,
a very isolated place to be.

A different kind of pain emerged,
the loneliness of being a bully.
