Our Father's Love

Father,

Your Love Is

More intense than the heat of the sun,

Deeper than the far reaches of outer space,

More glorious than the light of day,

More powerful than every law of nature that has been discovered,

More thorough than the quantum minutiae

that constitute creation,

More purifying than snow,

Closer to me than my own blood,

Livelier than lightening,

Gentler than the sweetest kiss,

More solid than all the rocks of creation,

More present and impregnable than time,

Fiercer than a mother bear with cubs,

Matched only by its twin whose name is Truth,

More free than life itself,

But more expensive than all the energy in creation.

Grandmother, teacher, bushlover, horse-lover, gardener, poet , stirrer and passionate person, especially about Jesus.
