Each drop of blood mercy-filled
Each tear of pain love revealed.

On the cross poured mercy blood.

Justice deserved in the sinful flood
But mercy given in tears of blood.

Grace flowed out like river water
Royal blood in divine slaughter.

Beads of blood in his sweat
Mercy flood paid my debt.

On the cross poured mercy blood.

Mercy blood on hands and feet
Jesus glimpsed God's mercy seat.

On the cross poured mercy blood.

Mercy blood gushed from his side
When God's own son was denied.

On the cross poured mercy blood.

Mercy blood surged worldwide
When God himself was crucified.
