Knock at the door,
and wait for God to reply
knock and He will hear you
and His favor He'll apply.

Knock on the door of mercy,
and you will find God's grace
knock asking for forgiveness
and slam the door on sin's face.

Knock every morning,
and make God your early quest
knock knowing He will open
and you'll find His perfect rest.

Knock on joy's door,
and leave your worries behind
knock and He will give you hope
and bring peace to your mind.

Knock and it shall be opened,
and you'll find Jesus waiting there
knock and enter into His presence
and give to Him all of your care.

Knock and faithfully step in,
and He'll be your sturdy, strong Rock
but first you must remember to
knock . . . knock . . . knock!
