Seeds of Thought

"Don't you know we are not included in that"?

Those words were heard in high school days, when among the stack of books, a small New Testament book was being read while waiting for a buss from school to work.

Someone standing by ask don't you know we are not included in that? What I thought, I did not have the courage to say, as I thought if you do not believe God, you sure do not have anything. Thinking I should say something, the words were, "I guess I will read it anyway". I was probably reading in the
book of Mathew, Mark, or Luke, thinking it a reasonable place to start.

It was many years later the comprehension and realizsation of what the person said was realized. They probably thought those seeds of truth fell on poor soil. They must have known of dispensations, God dealing with different peoples at different times and places.

Later years brought a better understanding of what is addressed to whom, what the conditions were requiring the instruction and the purpose God planed for people in different times and places in world history.

We were not all in the Garden of Eden: not all building the ark to be saved from the flood, and not all are the descendents of Abraham with an earth calling and promises of a new heaven and new earth in the future. Those instructions were for their obedience.

The books written during the Acts period of time, to the seed of Abraham were for Israel and believers through Gods chosen nation.

At the close of the book of Acts, the instructions Israel was required to keep were set aside. Instructions then were given to the nations, the whole world and are found in the book of John, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, first and second Timothy, Titus and Philemon.

Years of living in agricultural communities with the difficulties, duties and emotions that need assistance beyond human ability, found expression in writing. Author of Timeless Words of Poetry .
