God, the Powerful Originator,
The Alpha and Omega,
The Heavenly Architect,

God, the Universe Dancer,
The Cosmos Designer,
The Master Builder,

God, the Messiah and Savior,
The Wonderful Counselor,
The Earthly Carpenter,

God, the King of Jews,
The Author of Salvation,
The Biographer of the Bible,

Poured His enormity
Into Jesus, His son
And walked this earth
Among fallen humanity

Poured His mission
Into Jesus, the son
And sacrificed Himself
To save flawed human beings

Poured His compassion
Poured His forgiveness
Poured His mercy
Poured His grace
On Jews and Gentiles

Swallowed our sins
As He drank from death's cup
And climbed on the life-giving cross

Swallowed the grave
As red blood flowed
And Jesus' heart was resuscitated

There is no greater love than the Creator who laid down life for His treasured creatures, human beings. I cannot fathom the deepness of God's affection. The cross was the way of redemption and salvation. Yes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and the Romans played a role in the death of Jesus, but God designed the plan. God who crucified Himself to save me, to love me, and to give me life.
