In the beginning,
Satan wanted to be like God.

During the heavenly battle,

Satan watched
As God arrived on earth
In the figure of a helpless baby.

Satan waited
As God grew into the Jesus man
And then tempted the only begotten son.

Satan worked
Through Judas, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the Romans
And plotted to destroy God, the Universe Ruler.

Satan worshipped
Himself when God appeared lifeless
As the Son of man bled on the cross.

Satan wailed
When the tomb was found empty
And God lived again in Jesus, the Savior.
