Praising God in our trials
turns burdens into blessings
giving thanks for everything
makes life less depressing.

Holding on to our hope,
turns our sorrows into joy
being grateful for our woes
becomes misery's best decoy.

Praying for our enemies,
turns angry hearts around
forgiving the other person
helps our faith to abound.

Offering the other check,
turns our pride into meekness
following the golden rule
shows our own petty weakness.

Thanking God in all things,
is not an easy thing to do
but when you concede
He'll make a believer out of you!
