Sometimes, when you cry,
no one sees your tears
sometimes, when you doubt
no one sees your fears.

Sometimes, when you worry,
no one sees your strain
sometimes, when you hurt
no one sees your pain.

Sometimes when you lose,
no one sees your loss
sometimes, when you ache
no one sees your cross.

Sometimes when you care,
no one sees how much
sometimes, when you reach out
no one sees your touch.

Sometimes, when you weep,
no one sees your sadness
but my friend, all the time
Jesus brings the heart gladness.
