I await on the Lord,
I rest and I wait.
I'm sure of the Lord,
as I rest and await.

For, I know He is here,
right at my side
I know He is near
and in Him I'll abide.

I await for His answer,
I wait and I rest
I know He has for me
only His best.

The time may be long,
that I have to wait
but to Him I will cling
as I rest and await.
