Though, there are troubles on ever side,
and my mind can be at a puzzling loss
I am not overwhelmed by such things
for, I have been rescued by the Cross.
Though, I'm put down for many things,
and my faith brings much criticism
I am not ashamed for what I believe
for, I found God's truth, not mysticism.
Though, I feel weary and heavy-laden,
and I think I can't go on another day
I found rest for my worn out soul
for, Christ lightens up the narrow way.
Though, I get blown about in life's storms,
and it seems as if I am lost, out at sea
I cling on to my steadfast anchor
and the hope I have in Him, directs me.
Though, I once wandered from my faith,
and from the Lord, I turned away
He was gracious with His compassion
and that is why I am still His ~ today!
