THE BEST FORM OF GOSPEL SPREADING

by John Seun
1/25/2012 / Christian Living

The man from whom the demons had gone out begged Jesus,
Let me go with you. But Jesus sent him away, saying, Go back home and tell what God has done for you. The man went through the town, telling what Jesus had done for him. Luke 8: 38-39 (GNT)

In those days when we were growing up as kids we were familiar with men wearing an ugly coat with bell in their hands shouting "repent ye and come unto Christ and you will enjoy everlasting life", that is, preaching the Gospel. And unfortunately such are still very common these days. I am not trying to say those preachers are fake or not powerful on the contrary the influx of power the church enjoyed then can not be compared to this days' but I believe as a preacher, unbelievers wants to see what your God (which you are shouting so much about) has done for you that will make them want to follow Him (God).

Many preachers today are still using John the Baptist style of preaching. Christ came with a better style. I believe no one is permitted to come to Christ without a tangible blessing, many that were involved in His ministries enjoyed specific sign(s) and wonder(s). As rightly pointed out in the above scripture, Christ will always give you a sign that will accelerate the propagation and acceptance of the word of God that is why the Bible is called the "Good News".

Nobody will believe a thing you say without proof in this modern days of lost, many will not believe until they see (just like Thomas). Salvation comes with a blessing and a sign. No farmer can work on the farm without tools in the same vein God will not send you without a tool to work with. Jesus speaking to His disciples in the book of Luke 22:35 asks: Then Jesus asked his disciples, When I sent you out that time without purse, bag, or shoes, did you lack anything? Not a thing, they answered. To preach riches and wealth you must be able to show off how God has blessed you, brethren you can not give what you do not have.
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. Matt. 8:4 (KJV).
The above scripture points that you do not even need to tell anyone but just show them what Christ the savior has done for you and the people will have no option but believe more in Him. Your neighbors knew you are a poor man and all of a sudden you started exhibiting God's divine riches they will have no option than to come to you and ask: how come you are now rich? They knew you have been struggling to have a child and all of a sudden shoooooss! You are pregnant, they will definitely come to you.
The best way of spreading the Good News of Christ is by Testimony show what the Lord has done for you and others will follow you to see your God. Have you forgotten what John said in Rev. 12:11- And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Ask Him today for undeniable proof(s) that aid your ministration.
May God give you a better understanding. Amen!
