Your love is my compass,
and I use it everyday
for I know it will lead me
to the true and righteous way.

When I'm looking for direction,
I check the distance it will take
for me to get nearer to You
and then I pick that road to take.

Whenever I find myself lost,
I look to the Morning Star
knowing that He will point me
right to where You always are.

I cannot explain the expanse,
or the vastness of Your grace
but no matter where I go
I feel it shine upon my face.

I would be lying,
if I never said I was in the dark
but the light of Your compassion
on my life has left its mark!
