Who lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden? No one! Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light-Luke 11:33 NIV
Answers.com defines the term low profile as behavior or activity carried out with deliberate restraint or modesty so as not to attract attention. Or in other words someone who is under cover or keeping things on the down low (any activity or relationship kept discreet) when it comes to others acknowledging their Christianity. What a sad, sad why to live if you've confessed that Christ is your Savior.
Being a Christian and or believer or follower of Christ doesn't mean that you should shout out I'm a child of the Most High to everyone you meet or run across; but it does mean that your life should certainly identify you as one who indeed belongs to Christ. Hence Galatians 5:22-23, which tells us that our vitality should always exhibit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. If those qualities aren't easily recognizable in your life it maybe time to admit that you're a low profile Christian.
"If a man cannot be a Christian in the place where he is, he cannot be a Christian anywhere."-Henry Ward Beecher
