Father, thank You for the Cross,
and all it has done for me
thank You for opening my eyes
so my guilt I could see.

Thank You for Your mercy,
and the scourging of my sin
thank You for opening my ears
to Your voice deep within.

Thank You for Your grace,
and the thorns of righteousness
thank You for opening my mouth
so my sins to you, I can confess.

Thank You for Your love,
and the lashings of my shame
thank You for opening my heart
so I may call upon Your name.

Thank You for the sacrificial blood,
that poured out from Your Son
thank You for the gift of salvation
for my soul ~ Christ has truly won!.
