Stop what you're doing,
I want you to be awed
be still . . .
and know that I am God.

Quit trying,
let Me take care of you
quit stumbling
I know just what to do.

Quick fretting,
let Me work this out
quit worrying
give Me all your doubt.

Quit panicking,
I have your front and back
quit struggling
I've what you need and lack.

Quit fussing,
your future is in My hand
quit complaining
your days I have planned.

Quit resisting,
you can't do this on your own
quit defying
let My way to you be shown.

Be still . . .
and know that I am God
stop what you're doing
and in Me ~ you'll be awed.
