A Prayer for all those caught in sin and who want to break free

(This is a powerful prayer but say it only when you are ready and mean it for God will take you at your word)

Dear Lord Jesus and my Father, I come before You today for I am bound by sin and want to break free

Lord sin and temptation, vices and wrong friendships eat at my soul, they devour me and I am entrapped

I want to break free but unable to do so on my own; I need divine help O God

Give me a hatred of sin and protect me from all those who encourage me to sin and lead me astray

I give You permission to cleanse me from within and without

I give You permission to remove each and every person from my life who causes me to sin

I give You permission to change me completely

I ask You to deliver me O Mighty God

I ask You to touch me today and never let me go

I ask You if I should stray or fall that You will have pity on me, and immediately draw me back

Lord, please I beg You; do not let my feet head towards eternal damnation

Lord I do not want to burn in the company of demons in hell

Lord I want to live a victorious life and live with You one day in heaven

Save me O God, I cry out to You; help me for I am so needy of You

Thank You my Lord and Saviour, my Father and my God, I entrust my life to You

in Jesus' Name I pray amen
