Lord, make me to rise in the morning,
so that the first thing I do ~ is trust you
make me lift my soul towards heaven
so Your loving-kindness will shine thru.

Lord, cause me to hear Your Words,
cause my ears to be opened to . . .
receiving, believing, and truly trusting
so that I may every day, follow You.

Lord, make me to see Your goodness,
make my soul hold on and cling to . . .
Your mercy, grace, and true compassion
so that I may walk the way that You do.

Lord, cause me to know Your faithfulness,
make my heart willing to be lead by You
guide me in Your knowledge and wisdom
so Your love and truth is all that I pursue.

Lord, make me to rise in the morning,
let it be my trust in You ~ that I arise to
cause my soul to search for Your way
so that my heart will seek only You!
