A line runs through our legacy,
A thread as red as blood.
Damnation chose by all mankind,
sweeps down like a flood.
Jealously and hatred, a world consumed by fear;
Man's soul becomes a sea of pain, filled up tear by tear.
The agony continued, as day gave way to night;
Men chose to love the dark, and crucified THE LIGHT
But three days of night,
Three days of dark despair,
They held up their hands against the light,
as the Son stepped out into the air.
