Lord, You have called us,
to run this race for You
to have the patience
and spiritual fortitude.

You've asked us to love,
those who will hate us
You said to be meek
and not to make a fuss.

You want us to shine,
a light on Your Word
to be the salt and flavor
so Your mercy can be heard.

You've given us free will,
so we could make a choice
to share our joy with others
or to hide from them our voice.

Lord, You have called us,
to be Your faithful believers
to go out in love to find
all of salvation's receivers.

And so it is Your will,
that we shall run this race
until every fallen creature . . .
comes to know Your holy grace!
