Mercy is simply love
That does cover all wrong
God portrayed for all to know
Through Christ Who's grace is strong

True mercy is many things
Of all which are combined:
Compassion and blessings -
Kindness shown to all mankind

Mercy is forgiveness
It is generous and more
It is letting those who fault you
Free to explore the Lord

God gives to us His mercy
Defined in what it is -
Through the death of His Son
All that Jesus ever says

It is up to us each one
To heed God's Living Word
For in it lies the Truth
Of His mercy and favor

God gave design of Mercy
Through Jesus Christ His Son
In hope that we grasp Truth
And unite in Him as one
