God's hand was upon Ezra;
God's good hand was upon him
Because he had set his heart
To study the law of the Lord
To practice it in his life
And to teach God's law to others.
Thus was he strengthened by God's hand.

May we so choose to set our hearts
To study and practice
And teach God's law to others
And have God strengthen us.
