Colors of brown
Slowly become green
Dead foliage sprouts buds
For the forest yet unseen
Gray limbs hang low
Sun filters through trees
Shadows streak pale lights
God's miracle to see
Gray and green hues
Blend ever so softly
Creation in progress
Limbs entwine loftily
Strolls in this beauty
Beckoning all creation
Wildlife rejoices
Feathered voices vibrating
This beautiful change
God brings for all beings
Often goes unnoticed
This change of the season
