Are You In Prison Or Freedom?
by Olawale Ogunsola
6/05/2012 / Salvation
Irrespective of age, sex, educational level, social status or religion, everybody loves freedom.
A condemned criminal who has been sentence to death but awaiting execution who is well fed, clothed and cared for.
This does not in any way free him from death sentence. He is only awaiting the day he will be executed.
Suddenly,if a Lawyer appeals against the judgement successlly, the criminal is then freed.
Is there any sense in it for the criminal to reject freedom?
If he rejects it with 'my father, mother, uncles, aunts were criminals who were condemned to death and summarily executed.'
As a result of this,he will like to die and go in the way of his forefathers.
Does it make any sense for him to refuse freedom because his family members are die hard criminals?
Do you know that you may be the condemned criminal? John 3:18says,
'Whoever believes in the Son is not judged; whoever does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in God's only Son.' Good News for Modern Man
Have you believed in the name of the only Son of God? If not,you are the judged (condemned).
Reason: everyone, including you,was born into wrongdoing. Romans 3:23 discloses,
'all men have sinned and are far away from God's saving presence.' GNFMM
The entitlement of every wrongdoer (sinner or codemned criminal) is death.Romans6:23.
That is the reason you must make an all-important decision now. Do you want to remain in satan's prison or be set free? 1John chapter three verse eight(a) reveals,
'He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning.' New King James Version
To be released from his imprisonment and restore the lost glory (presence) of the Lord God.
That is the purpose of Christ coming into this world. Part (b) of the above quoted verse states,
'For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.' New King
"I tell you the truth: every one who sins is a slave of sin. A slave does not belong to the family always; but a son belongs there for ever.'' Good News for Modern Man
If the Son makes you free, then you will be really free." John 8:34-36. Good News for Modern Man
Jesus Christ has been raised as your freedom Giver. Accept freedom now.
Like the condemned criminal,do not give execuses.
Humbly agree that you are a sinner and stand condemned.
Mention all your misdeeds, regret and turn away from them.
Tell Jesus to come into your life now to become your Lord and Savior.
It is then you are Born Again into the family of God. First John chapter three verse nine assures,
'Whoever has been born of God does not sin,for His seed remains in him;and he can not sin, because he has been born of God.' New King James Version
By your power, you can not free yourself from the power of sin, take this steps and the seed of the Lord will be planted in you. All those sins you enjoy to commit will become as a filthy garbage.
You can not navigate the ocean of this life successfully withot a divine guidance, that is why you must obtain a copy of the Holy Bible and join a Bible believing assembly of God's children.
It shall be well with you. Stay blessed and enjoy your freedom in Christ.
