The first major event of this Millenium happened on September 11,2001 in the United States of America. It was a singular tragedy that affected and still affects the whole world. Since then, things can not be said to be the same.
On that fateful day,the World Trade Centre (WTC) and part of Pentagon were said to be destroyed.
Had USA Government been aware of the plan to wreck havoc on that day by anybody or a group, the leaders then would have taken a step to prevent it from being hatched.
Although a book was said to predict the event, nobody paid attention to it. Those who knew about the book (Joshua's Hammer by David Hegberg) did nothing to stop the evil plan.
On the said day, everybody woke up and went about their normal businesses of 'eating, drinking, dating, marrying and giving in marriage' and so on. Suddenly, the Enemy struck.
Things changed uncontrollably. A day they never expected nor planned for came. It came to pass.
That has come and gone into the dustbin of history. However, the memory remains with mankind forever.
Do you know that a greater event is ahead of every man and woman? It has been prophesied many millenia ago but will one day take place.
Because of the time-lag, those who are in the know of it are now relaxed. Some have concluded that 'it will never happen'. So they make no provision whatsoever for the day.
The Lord Jesus Christ warned:
"But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth." Luke 21:34-35.
What will happen on that day?
"...for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." Luke 21:26-27.
If it was possible for an individual to shake the confidence of the 'World Power' with his group, be prepared for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The time of His coming is known only to God,the Father. All that concerns you is to watch and pray. The Lord likened it to the days of Noah saying,
"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." Matthew 24:37-39.
Will you like to be caught unawares? If no, then confess, repent and forsake all your wrong doings.
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior now.
Obtain a copy of the Holy Bible for your meditation. Join an assembly of Believers in Christ where they live according to the Scriptures and are watching and praying as they expect the Lord Jesus to come in His glory to collect His saints.
Do not join those who have wrongly concluded that 'It is a lie!' because they will be caught unawares.
Stay blessed in Jesus name.
