If God is so good,
then why do bad things take place
isn't He all about . . .
love, mercy and endless grace?

If God is so awe inspiring,
then why do we continue to sin
when will we learn it's about . . .
winning the war that's raging within?

If God is our assurance,
then why don't we seek Him out
isn't He all about . . .
getting rid of all our nagging doubt?

If God is the way,
then why don't we desire to follow
why do we seek after things . . .
that leave us empty and feeling hollow?

If God is our shelter,
then why don't we make Him our retreat
isn't He all about . . .
handing Satan a sound defeat?

If God knows it all,
if He has predicted our future
then why don't we understand . . .
the bigger, eternal picture?

If God we truly knew,
then we would not have to ask
for He has all the answers . . .
and trusting Him is the bigger task.

If God is so good,
then why don't we seek His face?
When will we figure it all out . . .
we're nothing without His mercy and grace!
